Jedna z moich ulubionych figurek z Rohanu, pieszy król Theoden. Trochę dziwne, jak na władcę Kraju Koni, niemniej jednak chodził pieszo z całą pewnością;). Żarty na bok, miniaturka jest naprawdę fantastyczna. Jestem pełen podziwu dla rzeźbiarza, który na tak małym obszarze zawarł tak duże podobieństwo do aktora wcielającego się w filmie Jacksona w postać Theodena.
Malowanie filmowe, z jedną ale widoczną różnicą. Skórzana zbroja królewska jest na filmie tak ciemna, że niemal czarna. Postanowiłem troszkę rozjaśnić jej odcień, by kontrast między płową głową a resztą figurki był nieco mniejszy.
One of my all time favourites from Kingdom of Rohan miniatures, king Theoden on foot. A little strange for a ruler of Horse Masters but I'm sure there were occassions when even he was walking on his own legs;) Putting jokes aside, this miniature is truly fantastic. I think that the sculptor perfectly captured likeness of the actor from Jackson's movie, especially considering how small head of this miniature actually is.
Colors of the miniature are taken directly from the movie too - with one change. I changed color of the royal armor. Originally, in the movie this armour is very dark, almost black. I lightened it a little bit, making it appear more "leathery" but my main goal was to lessen the contrast between light coloured head and dark coloured torso.
