Ponad rok upłynął od pokazania na blogu czegokolwiek związanego z Epikiem. Wbrew pozorom temat nie umarł, coś tam dłubaliśmy wraz z Mormegiem, choć malowania per se nie było w tym za dużo. Mój brat poszedł w przygotowywanie piechoty, ja postanowiłem skończyć najpierw siły pancerne. Malowanie proste, mam wrażenie że jednak spełnia swą rolę. Podkład z aero, olejny wash, potem rozjaśnienia blach i krawędzi i malowanie detali. Pozostały do nałożenia kalkomanie (lub zrobienie freehandowych numerów), lecz z tym poczekam do pomalowania wszystkich posiadanych pojazdów.
Zastanawiam się tylko, czy zastosowany wash olejny nie był zbyt lekki - mam wrażenie, że podkreślenie cieniem mogłoby być ciut mocniejsze.
Na ostatniej fotce widać wszystkie dotychczas pomalowane Land Raidery. Hmm, wygląda na to, że zostały mi już tylko dwa.

Last note about Epic forces was published more then a year ago. Well, I'd like to announce that this project is not dead (although it may appears dead). Both I and my brother Mormeg actually did something with Epic Horus Heresy in mind - but painting was limited. Last few days we managed to paint some units though. My brother is painting his large infantry force, I decided to paint armoured units first. Painting itself is very simple but I think it is ok. Basecoat was airbrushed on, then oil wash and then highlights of armour panels and edges and some details. There are numbers and icons still missing of course, but I think I will use decals (or paint them with freehand) once whole force will be ready.
I wonder if oil wash shouldn't be a little stronger - I think that shadows could be a little stronger.
